Pattern of Examination
- The NEET (UG) Entrance Examination shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
- The duration of paper would be 03 hours.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will allow medical aspirant to take a single entrance examination to get admission to almost all medical colleges in India, including private medical colleges, from 2013-14 academic session.
NEET UG Exam Pattern
NEET UG 2013 will have 180 questions divided in 4 equal sections for Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Total time to complete 180 questions would be 3 hours (180 minutes).NEET PG Exam Pattern

math is not compulsory , but knowing math help for solving problems easily.

No, Maths is Not Compulsory, but there would be Choice between Biology and BioTechnology, i.e; you need to have physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology as compulsory subjects with requisite percentage of marks.

NEET is for medical aspirants. If you want to take admission in engineering you have to take ISEET test.

I dont think so………iit aspirants mostly vo hote hain jo first ya second time try kr rahe hon………..but thr r a lot of mbbs aspirants jo bsc k bad mbbs krte hain…..toh unk lie board marks mein bada disadvantage ho jaega as board marks improve almost every year

In one site i see that NEET is going to held from from 2013 and in this is see that it is going to be held from 2013-14 academic session. What a big confusion is this, so who really is going to give this NEET? The students of the academic year 2012-13 ie.12th std students or those who are in 11th std during the year 2012-13?

NEET 2013 is for students who are now studying 12 th std in the academic year 2012 -2013.
When NEET 2013 exam mentions “as academic year 2013-14 ” it means the academic year of MBBS I st year. Bcoz this entrance Exam is conducted for acdemic year of 2013-14 of MBBS . This academic year does not ref. to !2 std.I hope You are clear now.

Agar maths mendatory kr dia toh vo med. k bachee kahan jaenge jo without maths k hain…….maths walon k lie boht options hote hain but bio walon k lie nahi…..agar neet mein maths mwndatory hua toh aieee n iit mein bio mendatory honi chahie……which is not possible…..noboddy should ask or think bout these foolish questions….!!!!
